Navratri Treats – Day 2

Chilkewale Aloo

3 potatoes diced (Do not peel off the skin)
2 green chillies
1 1/2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp coriander leaves


  1. Heat the ghee in a pan
  2. Add the cumin seeds and chilli
  3. Once it makes a crackling sound, add the potatoes and some water and cover the pan with a plate filled with water
  4. Add the other ingredients once the potatoes are cooked
  5. Serve hot
