Navratri Treats – Day 4

Aloo Rajgira & Singhare Thepla

Prep time: 12 min   Cooking time: 15 min   Makes: 10 pcs

Ingredients: 
1 Potato boiled
1 cup rajgira atta (Amaranth flour)
1/2 cup singhare ke atta ( water chestnut/caltrop flour)
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp chilli ginger paste
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
ghee for cooking

Method:

  1. mix all the ingredients with some water to make a soft dough
  2. divide the mixture into 10 equal portions
  3. roll each portion into a flat round shape with a rolling pin
  4. place it on a pan and cook both the sides with ghee
  5. serve with sabudana kheer or chutney
